The problem with AI search today
Tools like Perplexity and others are genuinely impressive. They combine real-time web search with LLM reasoning to give you synthesized answers. The problem is trust: when an AI tells you something, how do you know it's true? And for enterprise teams, a second problem: your research queries — your competitive intelligence, your strategic questions — are going to someone else's server.
For researchers, legal teams, and enterprise analysts, both of these matter. Answers need to be traceable. Data needs to stay on your infrastructure.
What we built
Gyroscape Search is an enterprise AI answering platform. It synthesizes real-time search results using your chosen LLM, and every answer is fully cited — every claim is linked to its source. You can deploy it on your own cloud or on-premises, or use our managed offering with your own data residency controls.
The result: the same quality of AI-synthesized answers you get from cloud tools, but with full citation trails and the ability to run it entirely within your infrastructure.

Six focus modes
One decision we made early: general web search is the wrong tool for most professional research tasks. So we built six focused modes, each with its own source weighting and prompt design:
- Web Search — comprehensive everyday research
- Academic — scholarly literature and papers
- Reddit — community discussions and real opinions
- Study Mode — educational explanations and learning
- Code Mode — full-stack generation with GyroCode integration
- Writing Assistant — drafting and composition without search overhead
Citations as a first-class feature
Every Gyroscape answer cites its sources. This wasn't an afterthought — it was the foundation. AI language models hallucinate. The only way to trust an AI answer is to see where it came from and verify it yourself. We built the citation system before we built anything else.
What's next
We're actively developing Gyroscape Search alongside GyroCode. The integration between the two products — where Code Mode in Gyroscape Search uses GyroCode to generate and preview full applications — is one of our most exciting upcoming capabilities. We're also working on better document analysis, smarter source ranking, and deeper enterprise compliance controls.
